Working with Dr. McGee, I wrote an independent study paper titled “Internal and External Forces of Agency Determine Success of Ideology in Mune: Guardian of the Moon, Song of the Sea, and Kubo and the Two Strings.” In this paper, I analyzed how the film depicts agency: does it change, is it reliant on internal or external forces, and how does agency correlate to ideologies of children.
