During my time here at Longwood thus far, I have created some relationships that I hope will span past my college career.
First, I made great connections with members of the Honors program! I have a wonderful (official) mentor, but many great upperclassmen who have really brought me under their wing. The Honors Student Association also provided me a comfortable place to meet other honors students. In Spring 2017, I was elected Vice-President for the 2017-2018 school year.
Second, I joined Alpha Alpha Omicron, the Longwood chapter of Alpha Phi Omega. APO is a co-ed national service fraternity, based upon Boy Scout Oath and Law. My brothers have also brought me under their wing. Within my first semester in the fraternity, I have grown tremendously! I have pushed myself to make new friends, experience new types of service, and I have become more confident in myself.
