Spanish 111-05

Spanish 111 was the first Spanish class I have taken at Longwood, and I really enjoyed it. Dr. Barlow is an amazing professor and I plan to take more courses with her. The class was fun, engaging, and taught me so much about Spanish. We started off with a lot of the basic Spanish topics in vocabulary and grammar. We also got to learn about different things in Spanish and Latin American culture. Dr. Barlow is genuinely so kind and intelligent, and she really wanted us all to succeed. I look up to her now as a mentor and am so thankful I could have this experience. My favorite part of the class was our final project on a topic and part of Latin America of our choosing. I got to do the project with my roommate and best friend, Danielle, which made it even more fun. The powerpoint file is too large to upload, but this is the proposal for the topic we did and what we chose to research. I learned a lot about Spanish language and culture, and I cannot wait to learn more.
