I am blessed to have a very active research group that mainly consists of Longwood undergraduate research students and my research collaborators from the USA, the UK, Ecuador, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. If you are an undergraduate student at Longwood looking for a research experience, please feel free to e-mail me at or just stop by (Chichester 202 or 216). I am always looking for dedicated students with a true passion for research, not necessarily the ones with the highest GPA!

Here are some memories with my Longwood research students and collaborators.

Fall 2013- My first Longwood research students presenting at a conference, (from left) Emily Crawford, Rivoningo Hlophe and Brady Donovan.

Summer 2014- My PRISM research student, Caryn Ross and myself birding in James River State Park.

Summer 2015- My PRISM research students, Patty Hale and James Wilson assessing potential impacts of invasive crayfish.
