Community

Being a part of the Honors College has given me the opportunity to become involved in the community around Farmville in many ways. During the Honors Retreat, I was able to explore the Science Museum of Virginia, test my boundaries at Sandy River Adventure Park, and help clean up the beautiful High Bridge Trail. I was also given the opportunity to travel to Westmoreland County, Virginia and spend time at Hull Springs Farm and serve the community there. These opportunities have helped me build friendships and form a sense of community for me in my home away from home.
