Scholorship is a huge part of any college, but being in the honors college it is even bigger. We are required to maintain a minimum of a 3.25 GPA, study abroad, take at least 8 honors classes, as well as complete an internship before our time at Longwood is complete. While it is a lot of extra work in some ways, being in honors is one of the best decisions I have made because it has given me so many opportunities that I would not have gotten if I was not in honors.
