Letter To Senior Self

I remember writing one of these letters back as a high school sophomore. My teacher had us turn it in to her and she gave each and every one of us our letters as we were lining up to receive our diplomas. Reading the letter I had written two years before, it was interesting how little actually changed. I had thought that a lot would change, but it really hadn’t. Now writing this letter after finishing my freshman year in college, I wonder if it will be the same when I read this letter at the end of my senior year at Longwood. By the time I will be reading this, I will have my degree in nursing and will be preparing to take my NCLEX to become a full fledged nurse. Thinking about it now, I am both terrified and excited that my life-long goal of going into medicine will be complete in three short years…and I cannot wait.
