Going into my Longwood Seminar class, I was not really looking forward to it because I did not see how it could aid me going into my first year. However, my mind was quickly changed. While I still saw some things that we did in class as “unnecessary” in my mind, those “unnecessary” things that we did came back to help me during the rest of my first year. On top of the things that I learned during that class, It also aided me in getting closer with some of my fellow honors nursing students because that was all the class was and it further showed how nice the small class settings are at Longwood.
