Reflection
The press release was my second opportunity in this course to collaborate in a group to create a professional document. I learned how to designate tasks and create a cohesive document that embodied each member’s work. This addressed learning outcome number six. Through creating the press release I was able to analyze and produce a writing genre that is commonly used in the professional world of media. Each of us conducted research to add to the press release to make it more authentic and simulate an authentic professional document. This addressed learning outcome number three. This particular project presented a unique challenge of condensing information into one page while keeping all necessary information.
