Mathematical Modeling of Finances
Before I started taking the Mathematical Modeling of Finances course, I was a little nervous. Mathematics was never my favorite subject growing up. I always had a hard time comprehending it. Once I started taking the course I realized that there was nothing to be nervous about. My professor was really kind and understood that some of us weren’t confident in math. She worked with us and encouraged us to email her or go to her office hours if we have any questions.
From this class I learned that I benefit from a supportive professor. Due to Covid 19 and classes being online, it was definitely harder to comprehend the topic. I had a hard time coming up with an answer to the problem, so I emailed my professor and she walked me through the problem and guided me to the correct answer. Attached below is one of the written projects I completed for this course.
