CTZN 110: A Sustainable Lancer was the first honors course I took at Longwood, taught by Dr. Justin Ellis. The class discussed the sustainability concerns of college life and helped us realize our environmental impact, going on to explore how we as college students and global citizens might mitigate our impacts on the earth. The capstone of the course was a group project, a flyer about certain sustainability efforts on the Longwood campus. Attached is my group’s flyer, which highlights the need for more solar energy at Longwood.
