Doug Dalton, Professor of Anthropology and the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice Studies, will present a paper entitled Mimesis, Ethnomimesis, Magic and Desire at the annual meetings of the Association for Social Anthropology in Oceania. The paper is in a working session on Mimesis and Transcultural Encounters which will be held next Friday, February 8th and is based on his field research in the mountains of Papua New Guinea.
