Mark Fink received a grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality‟s Coastal Zone Management Program for his work on biodiversity assessment of the Living Shore-lines of Longwood’s Hull Springs Farm. Also, his article “Preparing future teachers: Using a SENCER approach to positively affect dispositions toward science” has been published in Science Education and Civic Engagement (Vol. 2, Issue 1, Fall 2009).
