Throughout this class, we were taught the various processes of research in the collegiate setting.  This paper was the end result of a semester-long research project on the concentration of microplastics in the Chesapeake Bay.  On the summer bridge, we collected samples that we then analyzed when we returned to school. This class taught me the valuable skills needed to write scientific papers that I will carry with me throughout my college career.
