In this class, I reflected on our class trip to Tangier Island during the Summer Bridge to determine the impacts that external forces, such as man-made sea walls, dredging, and underwater power cables, have on the Island.  The main assignment for the semester was to create a research proposal that focused on the issues of the Chesapeake Bay. I found this assignment to be very important because it allowed me to write a proposal before I enter the real world.
