Math 171- Statistical Decision Making

Statistics class was an interesting, but troubling class for me. What we covered in class interested me in a lot of ways since I am a business major and a lot of statistics are involved in finances which I enjoy. The only issue was keeping up in the class became difficult at times. Once I was taking the class online, I had a very hard time trying to keep up with how to do things and calculate problems. Even with these issues I found a deep interest in what we were learning and how it related to finances that I find fascinating.

What I remember learning from the class the most was not the ways to solve problems in the calculator, but how by using statistics you could make reasonable assumptions and information to make decisions. To me, being able to do that with simple information is really cool because I imagine how I could be able to do that in the future.

Project 3, Stats

Artifact

For my artifact, I chose my third statistics project paper. I picked this because it was the end culmination of everything we had learned into a single project which I used as practice for how I might use statistics later in my life.
