In Principles of Macroeconomics, I found it to be a pretty relaxed environment with Professor PlaHovinsak. I liked him as a professor and thought that his ideas of learning were closely related to mine in that we are all here to learn and questions are welcomed no matter what the question is. The class was a challenge to learn in the way that we would sometimes discuss too much in class and would not be able to fully cover the topic, but we always worked around this by working together in the class and out of it.
For me, the class was really engaging and immersive in all the topics that we covered. We always tried to talk about things in great detail when people had questions and I thought it was a healthy learning environment that allowed us to grow exceptionally well due to us going over confusing topics in such detail. I thought it was really shocking to be taught by a professor who had graduated during the 2008 recession because it has always been a interest of mine and he was always very honest with us about how it had effected him as well as people he knew. So I thought that was very cool as well as shocking to hear.

I chose this Podcast that I made for my class because it was a lot different from the types of projects I had to do in other classes. In Macroeconomics we had to create podcasts for each topic we covered in class and it was a really unique experience for all of us as students to basically be asked our opinion on something we were learning in class, then record it, and have our professor listen to our opinion on something economics related. So being put into that position was pretty scary and kind of crazy because someone was willing and wanted to hear what he had to say about what we had learned about. To me it was a chance to become my own talk show host in a way which to me was the coolest thing to be graded on.
