Longwood Seminar is an introduction class that is mandatory for all incoming freshman students at Longwood University. I was able to take an Honors version of this course. The main portion of the course surround the novel The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore. Every incoming freshman student at Longwood had to read this novel prior to coming to school. The class discussions that were held on this novel, were my favorite parts of the class. They truly made you open your eyes to see the world in a different light. These discussions made you think about and appreciate all the opportunities that you were given throughout your life. This novel really opened up a new world of reflection.
