Community is one of the core values that the Cormier Honors College upholds. Community involves interacting as a unit in the area and helping each other out. There are many communities that I am a part of at Longwood University:

• Business Administration Department
• Fraternity and Sorority Life
• College Panhellenic Council
• Sigma Kappa
• Order of Omega
• Lambda Pi Eta

Each of these communities are very different, but a lot of them are subset of other communities. As a member of these communities I need to give back and help these communities grow. By holding leadership positions in these communities and offering my help, I am giving back to the communities that have given so much to me.

Communities are important because they can provide you support and information that you may not get elsewhere.

Although I am a member of multiple communities, each community is a part of who I am as a citizen leader. These communities have helped me grow and succeed during my time in college.
