Engl 201

I have always been a student who is fascinated by literature. I was excited to take this course because I wanted to be exposed to forms of literature that I have never been exposed to. Although there were a few novels I was not the biggest fan of, the majority of the novels truly opened my eyes to the world around. Reading from a perspective that actually lived in that culture gives a different understanding about how that society functions. Class discussions on various topics could last for a long time, due to the the amount of information we were given. Taking this class as an Honors, really benefited me because we were able to have long discussions on one small topic that the majority of the class was interested in.
