As a Communications Studies major, I was required to take Communications Ethics. For my major and career field, this topic is really important to fully understand. Ethics is about knowing what is right and how to make tough decisions. Whether I am working in event planning or corporate communication, choices are constantly going to be made that will ultimately affect many people.

I decided to take this course online during my Junior year Winter Break. My Spring semester was going to be a busy semester, so I decided to split up my classes. I enjoyed utilizing technology to help complete a class. The only thing that the online version of the class lacked was in-class discussion and debate. I feel like with a class, such as Ethics, debate in the classroom would be helpful in understanding specific topics.
