UNITED STATES HISTORY 1877 TO MODERN TIMES
Even before signing up, I was very nervous for this class. History was never a strong suit and I was worried I wasn’t going to do well. However, I found this class to be really amazing and it made me enjoy history more. My teacher made a great effort to get the point across and that everyone understood. Even when I struggled, my professor did a great job measuring me and going over the material again. I really did enjoy this class and would recommend it with Dr. Dudley Shotwell.

Open in new tab This paper is my final project. We had to create a buzzfeed article on how the views of society had changed on a particular group of people. I had chosen women because I felt the need to address how bad they were treated and how well society has adjusted now (although to be fair, it could still get a lot better). I also wanted to touch basis with how strong women were in the hardest of times and how they stuck together to fight for what they wanted.
