If this semester had been normal in any sense, this page would have been updated with my experiences from Berlin and how my study abroad had both challenged and benefited me. However, this semester we were hit with a global pandemic and my study abroad, as well as my time on campus, was shortly cancelled. This COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected the lives of people across the globe, myself included, and while I am disappointed that I could not participate in the program this summer I am more thankful that I have been lucky enough to afford to stay at home and keep myself in good health. This does not have to be a dead end, though. Hopefully by next summer, 2021, I will be able to attend the reschedule of this trip and be able to update this page with how Berlin enhanced my education.
