NOTE: I included the checklist to show the steps Sportable is taking to return with this being for Cycling Practice

    Hi Hayley,

Sorry for my delay in commenting on this.

We do custom fittings for any sports that require them (wheelchair rugby, cycling, tennis, basketball, etc.). Our general assessment as I mentioned does not truly exist in an paperwork process however we do gather information about the individual, their disability and their level of experience. As far as planning goes, we use that to try and narrow down what equipment we can bring with us to practice to ensure we can get that individual practicing as soon as possible. Definitely a weakness of ours is not having a formalizing on-boarding for our athletes or at least a well developed one. As you and I discussed, using the CERT after applying a modified STILAP to each athlete would help in narrowing down their interest and then ability to perform at practice.

For monitoring goals, as you mentioned and I just want to verify this is very sport specific. I do totally different goal documentation for all of my sports; cycling we follow the app, in tennis we do self-evaluation of skills, wheelchair rugby we follow a more standardized test that the USAWR does, etc.

I just want to note that the USQRA is the United States governing body. While we do flex the rules a bit in the US for the sport ultimately for international competition the IWRF’s guidelines would have to be followed.

I approve of the program evaluation document you have.
