Group Norms & Rules
Baseline group norms and rules are listed below (additional rules will be added by participants in Session 1).
- We will not criticize or judge each other
- We will treat everyone with respect and dignity.
- We will not break the group confidentiality.
- We will prioritize punctuality.
- We will avoid creating interruptions during the sessions.

Evaluation Protocols:
Each assessment document provides its own form of measurement and evaluation criteria. Facilitators and supervisors will abide by their individual criteria, as to not distort the assessment results.
Co-Facilitation Protocols
Facilitators will switch off leading every other session.
The leading facilitator of the session will provide evidence-based knowledge, and guide open conversation among group members to aid in reaching the group goals.
The co-facilitator not leading the session will take SOAP notes throughout the session, and be available to step out with a client if they need more 1 on 1 attention if something in the group is a trigger for them.
Supervision Protocols
All supervision contact is made through the most accessible and urgent form of communication (i.e. In-Person, Text, Phone Call, Email).
Administrative Supervision Protocols are through the program director, Dr. Brown-Meredith.
Administrative protocols could include any topic in relation to federal, state, and agency-based policy regulations, the program’s policies, and the group rules and procedures.
Educational Supervision Protocols are through the program director, Dr. Brown-Meredith and the program sponsor Dr. Kwabena Donkor’s Clinic.
Educational protocols could include any topic in relation to education and training on the program’s population, goals, and strategies.
Supportive Supervision Protocols are through the program director, Dr. Brown-Meredith.
Supportive Protocols could include any topic in relation to competence in the management of the group and the offering of resources that could enhance the group’s overall functioning.
