Pearson’s Correlation
The independent variable is the highest degree of education anyone in the child’s household has completed. The dependent variable is how engaged was the child throughout the project. After completing Pearson’s correlation, the results showed that the correlation is 0.14343 for variables v4 and v33. This shows that there is a weak positive correlation between children engagement and highest degree of education anyone has completed in a child’s household. This being said, because it is a weak positive correlation the variables don’t really have an effect on each other.
