The Impact

These institutions the classes talked about were to deal with sports, families, and race. These classes opened my eyes to how institutions work and how much of a role they play in society. For example, sports has a relationship with so many different institutions. Sport can be described as a social institution. In my race class we discussed how big of a role institutions play. In today’s society institutions like business, schools, religion (for example churches) and so many more really are what society are filled with and revolve around. Institutions are what we as humans grow up around and in. For example, I’ve always gone to school, institutions like schools help shape children growing up as this is where they spend most of their day.
