One of the electives I chose to take was Communication in a Diverse Society. Through this class, I learned about representation of minority groups in a variety of settings. Understanding these differences in subjects such as race, gender, ability, and socio-economic status is very important in any environment, and I was able to evaluate these differences in projects such as focus groups and white papers.
