This course taught me so much while also including a fun and entertaining twist on public speaking. I feel extremely confident in my abilities to tackle public speaking, and I enjoyed the class in the process. For our final exam, we had to pull a topic out of a hat, construct an outline within thirty minutes, and do our speech in front of the class. Challenges faced throughout this class included having to speak about things I didn’t want to talk about and learning how to effectively listen to my peers as they were speaking.
