Star Wars Review

Star Wars was made in the year 1977 and was a simple story of how a young farmboy became a hero and stood up to the galactic empire. The genre of the movie is science fiction, sci-fi for short. The main characters are Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader. Darth Vader is the main antagonist, and Luke Skywalker is the main protagonist.  Luke Skywalker lives with his aunt and uncle on a farm after his parents died. He lives on a desert planet called Tatooine. The Uncle buys two new droids to help them on their farm. One night one of the droids gets lost and Luke goes after them. When he is out looking for him, he is attacked by the sand people but ultimately survives when he is saved by Ben Kenobi. Ben Kenobi was an old member of the Jedi order before they were all eliminated by the galactic empire. Darth Vader is the leader of the galactic empire. Ben told Luke about the Jedi order and tried to convince Luke to become a Jedi because he knew his time was winding down and did not want the Jedi order to die. Sadly Luke’s aunt and uncle were killed and he believed that the galactic empire killed them. Luke and Ben left the planet with the help of Han Solo, and his good side partner Chewbacca. There was a recorded message from one of the droids that said that a princess had been captured by the galactic empire and the reward for saving her was more money than anyone could imagine. They all went on the Death Star, which was the home base for the galactic empire and rescued her. Ben left to go face Darth Vader so Luke, Chewbacca, Han, and Leia could escape. Sadly Ben was killed by Vader and was unable to escape the death star, but died a hero so the rest of the group would be able to survive. Since Leia was a princess she was in charge of the rebellion fighting against the galactic empire. She had many people ready to fight and die for the change to crush the galactic empire. They had a plan to do an all-out assault on the Death Star since that was their base of operations. They had ships called X-wings that were used to try to destroy the Death Star. Luke was one of the fighters in the X-wings. The galactic empire deployed Tie fighters to defend the Death Star from attacks. Luke was able to blow up the Death Star and everyone on it was destroyed. Darth Vader was able to escape and he survived. When they all got back to the rebel base, Luke, Han, and Chewbacca were given medals for their bravery and courage. The movie ends with applause from the crowd for their heroic bravery. This movie is considered to be one of the greatest movies of all time and revolutionized the sci-fi genre of movies. This movie should be seen by everyone, and this is a movie that everyone will enjoy.
