I decided to pursue a career in social work because I want to help children. I am passionate about advocating for children in need. Every child deserves to be heard and given the chance to succeed and thrive in life. I have experience from my junior internship at Alliance Human Services and will be doing my senior internship at Danville DSS. I will be getting my master’s degree in social work after I graduate with my bachelor’s degree in social work in May of 2024. I plan to work in child protective services, but I also have interest in being a school social worker and eventually receiving my LCSW to become a therapist for adolescents in need.
