One course I have taken here at Longwood that teaches about inequality was Soc 333. Some keys concepts I learned in this class are affirmative action, certain inequalities such as housing inequality and health inequality, and racist ideologies present in America today. Another class I have taken that deals with inequality is Soc 233. Some keys concepts I learned in this class are theories of inequality, how race is a social construction in society and understanding privilege and oppression. A final class that I have taken that relates to inequality is Crim 210. Some key concepts I learned from this class are community policing and the inequalities that can occur in policing.
