PEARSONS CORRELATION

Students were asked to rate how confident they felt in their ability to succeed in online learning on a scale of 0 to 10, 0 being no confidence and 10 being extremely confident. Students were also asked on a scale of 0 to 10  how satisfied they were with their overall college semesters experience, 0 being completely dissatisfied and 10 being very satisfied . In order to understand if confidence affected a students overall satisfaction a correlation was run to test the relationship between the variables. There was a moderate positive correlation of .484. This showed that as a student’s confidence with online learning  went up their overall satisfaction with the college semester also went up.
