BIOL 251 Introduction to Ecology & Evolution

The second tier of a three-semester introduction to the study of biology. An examination of the central concepts of evolutionary and ecological theory and application. The principles underlying the interactions of organisms within their environments including the population, community, and ecosystem levels of organization are discussed. The lab includes local field trips and completion of a student-designed research project.
