My family has a significant theatrical past, my great uncle was Paul Robeson, who was a black actor who influenced the world of theatre like no one else before him. He performed in productions such as Othello, and traveled the world singing and performing which left an impact on my family about caring about art and culture which is why I took Theatre for my art goal. My favorite thing about this class was being able to creatively express myself and appreciate the expression of others. The story of my name is something I hold very dear to myself and I was happy that I got to share it. My professor remarked that she loved the story of my name, especially because I am named after the historic comet but the spelling is unique. This class also required us to go to the plays, but I am really glad that we got to go to them and enjoy them and I will definitely go again.
