Open in new tab Being able to speak another language is a very important tool, especially today as the need to be bilingual becomes more and more necessary. I was very nervous to make an entire video where I spoke Spanish with a partner without much help from a script, but I enjoyed being able to be creative and fun. We learned a lot about vacation, food, and activity terms which is helpful for me because for my study abroad I want to go to a Spanish speaking country. It is important to me to be able to speak Spanish because I have Latin family members and I want to be a pediatrician and it would be helpful if I have patients or parents of patients that are more comfortable speaking Spanish.
