About Kira McKay

Kira is literally the girl (or young woman) with a dragon tattoo—a bearded dragon, that is. In addition to the tattoo, her eyes are two different colors. Combine those traits with the fact that she drives a Volkswagen, and she’s no doubt a unique individual on campus. A criminal justice major, Kira plans to go into law enforcement when she finishes her degree at Longwood. When she does, she hopes her partner will have a bite that’s worse than his bark. That’s because her goal is to be a K-9 officer, trusting a four-legged co-worker to watch her back. At Clover Hill High School, her favorite classes were Spanish and history, and she was a member of the debate and tennis teams.
