Dear Future Employer,

I am writing this in hopes of furthering my career in becoming a successful future Social Worker in the Foster Care Setting. The main reason I would like to pursue this field is to help others. I hope to further my knowledge in this field to help many people of different backgrounds and to be impactful on their lives to offer the best knowledge possible in order to help them. This field will allow me to further my knowledge and give me the opportunity and capability to help individuals. By me pursuing a career in the Foster Care Setting, I hope to gain perspectives of many different knowledge bases in order to have the best outcome for others. From the experiences gained from helping those around me, I hope to become a Social Worker to impact the lives of those I wish to help.

My goal is to help people and be there as an advocate for the many who need it. I enjoy helping people and consider myself to be a very caring person. I am also especially empathetic and consider myself to be an active listener. I’m well organized and communicate points thoroughly. I’ve worked with diverse individuals from many backgrounds, and I am a very open-minded person. During my time here, as a Social Work Major, I have gained knowledge and many perspectives to have a better understanding of what expectations or abilities one must have to become a future Social Worker. I feel my skills and knowledge will be beneficial when joining the Social Work Program, not just for myself, but for future individuals I work with.
