• Creative Commons search
  (please note  that search.creativecommons.org is not a search engine, but rather offers convenient access to search services provided by other independent organizations)

• Google Advanced Image Search (choose “free to use or share” from the drop down menu of the Usage Rights)

• Wikipedia Commons (Media file repository of CC and public domain images)

• Flickr Creative Commons ( use advanced search  with the checked box “Creative-Commons Licensed Images”)
