I think it is great that you asked what do you do to ensure your classroom is a safe, welcoming place for students! This is something people tend to forget about. I personally, Use lamps to illuminate the room and not those awful florescent lights!
I like the questions that dealt with the assessments as well. I didn’t even think about it until you brought it up in the questions you would ask the English supervisor. I also like the questions about differentiation in the classroom with diverse learners. That’s something I think that even the interviewer might ask as well as us asking the English Supervisor because I think every classroom will have different levels of learning regardless.
Your two interview questions, “How will you differentiate instruction to reach all of your students?” and “How will you assess your students and track their growth?” are really great questions. I didn’t even think about those things when I was thinking of questions. It is definitely something we should be prepared to answer in an interview.
