Conclusion

Over the past semester, I have learned many aspects of professional writing that I will take with me in my future endeavors. Of these, I think being clear and concise in my writing are the most important. In addition, using constructive criticism when delivering bad news is the most affective method in diverting a crisis. I learned all of these lessons from the short documents of the course: the bad news letter, the persuasive letter, the brochure, and the press release.

From the professional report, I learned that it is important to work together as a team to produce a document that relies heavily on data that will get your point across to your audience. This brings me to my net point, that it is important to know your audience and who you should be persuading in your argument.

In conclusion, I am looking forward to take the knowledge I have gained over the past semester with me as I move on to nursing school. I am very excited for this new chapter, and I thank everyone who has helped me get to this point.
