Reflection

The basis for development that enables our society to enter a future-oriented frame of mind is research. My process for doing academic research changed since I was able to pick up a variety of skills that would be very useful to me whenever I start another research project. Thinking critically was one of the most crucial skills I acquired. According to my research, at first, we distributed activities to particular schools in our area, it was a fresh way for me to start thinking critically. I had to analyze the data and consider how it affected the study and the subject of family involvement as a whole. In the end, I was able to increase my data analytics understanding as a result. I also picked up another tiny skill called teamwork. I was able to form friendships and relationships with strangers who later became friends by working with a set of people I didn’t even know. Every person joining the workforce will encounter a situation where they must learn to feel at ease among a group of people they do not know, while also having to work with them. These scenarios function better and move more smoothly thanks to the skill teamwork.

I didn’t have to alter any of the sources I had discovered for my literature review during my research. The scholarly sources I used helped me conduct my research more effectively. However, being precise about my research findings was difficult for me to do while conducting the research. I knew what my study needed, but it proved to be more challenging than I had anticipated to come up with the right words to put both my hypothesis and my findings together. Understanding what the findings meant for my research topic needed critical thinking so, with the help of my group members and learning from their point of view and their approach helped me to better understanding the research, connecting pieces together and at critical thinking in general.

After completing my first major research project, I now feel more comfortable in doing research. It’s always challenging to try something new for the first time because you worry about getting it wrong. But success only comes from trying and failing, and I’m sure that if I were to do another research project, I would be more comfortable than I was before. I’d say that thanks to the research I’ve done this semester, I now think like a researcher would.  This involves having a strong interest in learning new things and being interested about them. A engaging research project to an audience is produced when the researcher is both passionate about the subject and interested with the findings. A researcher thinks by expanding their thinking and being motivated to learn new things.
