One of our assignments was creating a cover letter and a resume. I had already established a resume and cover letter prior to this class. It was not in the same format that it is formatted currently. I used the discussions in class to format my resume and cover letter so it was more professional. I took out and added some information to include in my resume for when I’m applying for jobs. I really appreciate we focused on our resumes in class. I feel like my resume is a lot better now than it was before going into this class. What Color Is Your Parachute? The textbook gave some really good pointers for the layout of my resume and our discussions in class about resumes helped me create a resume that is professional for a job interview.
