Reflection

Going into to Introduction to Writing Poetry I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. I enjoyed writing poetry in high school but on the first day of this class our professor told the class that along the way students may drop out. I found out later on that they really didn’t give the professor a chance. I really enjoyed this class and I think it gave me the skills to become a better writer. I think I learned also how to take criticism and allow it to help me make the necessary changes. I think I also learned how to provide good criticism. Something that surprised me was how well we all bonded in a small class. I think being in a smaller sized class allowed us to get to know each other better.

Below I have provided a button with the link to one of my revised poems. This is significant to me because out of all the poems this one was one of my favorites to write but also I got good criticism from the original that allowed me to produce this final draft.
