In ECON 217 we learned about the basics of microeconomics. This was actually my favorite class of freshman year. I really enjoyed learning about how supply and demand works. There was a goof amount of math involved in the class and I have always enjoyed math. Our teacher, Dr. Marks, was also my Honors Coach so it was nice to see her and get to know her. I really enjoyed this class. One of our projects for the class was to look at how Uber used the principles of micro-economics that we had learned about, and to prepare a lecture for how the use them. Attached below is a reflection on the project.
