LIFE STEM Seminar 1

This class was definitely one that I had no expectations for since I had no idea what we would be doing in the class. I was nervous for what the class would entail and how much work it would be. I was shocked to learn that the class was not so much work as it was learning about how to navigate college.

The class definitely helped me with knowing about Longwood and all of the resources I had available. It helped me figure out my four year plan as well as learn about my individual goals as a person through goal exercises. It definitely was responsible for so many individual changes I made in myself to grow as an individual.

I did not find any aspect of the class challenging. I remember at the beginning of the semester wondering how I was going to balance taking six classes, but this class was more of an environment to destress and really focus on myself. I felt like I could be completely honest with everyone in the class since we were all freshmen in the Life Stem program.

I definitely will not forget the information I learned in the class about myself as well as about Longwood. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to be a part of a class so informative and awesome as this one.

I chose to include my goal exercises to show how much I focused on my goals in this course.
