Honors Education 245 – 50 Human Growth – Soc, Pol, Econ Ins

I took this class in my second semester of freshman year at Longwood. This class was very informative on how children develop. I learned so much about the growth of a child and many different theorists that help explain Childs behavior or way of growth as well. As a future teacher it is important to understand how children grow and what actions they will take so you can handle certain situations better. In this class we had a big project called the Three Ages Project where we were to interview three children at three different ages with the same questions to see where they are at within development. This project was also given to help us have a better understanding and first handed experience of the differences of development and where the children were at. The whole class came up with their interview questions and wrote a 10 page paper on their findings. The teacher didn’t mind that the paper was possibly below the page number requirements as long as the paper had all the information requested in the rubric. Located below you will find my research paper and I hope you get an understanding of child growth from it and see the differences like I did.
