The Office of Student Research offers FREE poster printing services for course-based student research or research for presentation at a conference.
IMPORTANT: OSR prints research posters for students for free under the following conditions :
- All posters printed by OSR will be submitted to Spring Presentation of Undergraduate Research (SPUR), a digital initiative housed in Digital Commons that archives exemplary course-based research (See 2019 SPUR for more information). Students must provide permission to deposit the poster in Digital Commons in order to have the poster printed by OSR. Students must submit poster as a pdf. Posters printed for the Student Showcase for Research and Inquiry are exempted from deposit to SPUR.
- OSR only prints posters in two sizes: 24 in. X 36 in. and 36 in. X 48 in.
- OSR will print posters in color, but will not print posters with a solid colored background.
- OSR will not make corrections to a student’s poster Posters that fail to comply with formatting requirements will be returned to the student for revision, which may affect when the poster is available for pick-up.
In general, OSR prints posters no less than 24 hours before the pick-up date indicated by the student.
OSR prints posters in two sizes:

36 in. X 48 in.

To request a poster, complete the Poster Request Form and submit it and your poster in PDF to osr@longwood.edu. Please allow adequate time for OSR to process your request. OSR will not print posters on the same day the request is submitted.
