2017 Summer Undergraduate Research and Inquiry (SURI)
The SURI program is an eight-week summer research experience for fields beyond the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. For 30-40 hours per week, students work on a faculty member’s research project and develop their own individual research project. For selected teams, faculty will receive a $7,000 stipend and students will receive a $3,500 stipend, boarding in a dormitory (or stipend for off-campus housing) and meal plan fees.
Application Deadline: October 3, 2016 The deadline has been extended to October 6, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. The new deadline is a hard deadline; applications will not be accepted after that time.
