- Description: “Survey of the history of Rock music from its origins to the present, with consideration of the context of this music to culture, business and history.”
- Significance: This course was a breath of fresh air. While many of my courses were directed towards my major this class allowed me to apply the same types of skills such as research literature searching, paper formatting, and oral presentations on another one of my interest, rock music. This was especially enjoyable to me as during my high school career I was a member of the alternative rock club.
